Greetings and HAPPY 2010!! As we start the new year God has called us on a short-term mission to Campamento, Honduras. We will travel with a team from Bread For A Hungry World to visit the work that Bread has been apart of for the past 15 years. We leave on Tuesday, January 26th and return on February 10th. The main purpose of our trip will be to encourage the local workers and Bob Wilkerson, who lives there and oversees the work. We will also help some the local villagers begin life-development programs to help them become self-sufficient by learning how to raise and care for chickens. Some of our team will visit an orphanage to see if their is an opportunity to help them in the future. We will also encourage the local church and evaluate their assets and needs. We ask for your prayers regarding the following:
1) Travel mercies and protection
2)Wisdom to see and hear the real needs
3)Discernment to evaluate and interpret what we see and hear
4)Humility to remember that these we visit are our equals
5)Divine appointments!
